Bundles of Joy :)

I say with sincere sadness: Today's bookclub was canceled due to inclimate weather. So sad!! I had been looking forward to the bookclub meeting with my little 6th graders for a month now!! And bad weather?? It didn't rain until 5:30pm....an hour after the bookclub was due to end! Oh well, the librarian said she would try to reschedule for the week after Spring Break.

Soooo, instead of staying at school for the bookclub, I went back to the apartment where Janie was laying on the couch. We went to Belk where my mother told me they were having an amazing sale. Note: Belk was NOT having an amazing sale unless you count 2 small racks of clothing. What did we decide to do after leaving the mall? Well visit the babies at DCH!!!! We spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out where to park. Then we were able to search for the maternity ward in the hospital (floor 3 in case you were wondering). Our excitment was brimming to the edge as we rode the elevator to the 3rd floor where we saw one of our very good friend's sister (who is a nursing student and she knows us well) working in the nursery. We quickly ran to a window that had one, sickly baby in it :( We spent about 2.5 seconds checking out that baby before we quickly ducked out and headed back to the car to pay $1 to leave the parking deck.

Maybe it's time I get a puppy??? :)
